Over 35,000 Covid cases, including reinfections, reported Monday

Some 30,350 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Monday, which is the highest single day tally since the pandemic began. The previous one-day record increase was a week earlier, with 28,494.

Monday also saw 3,195 confirmed re-infections.

There were 1,695 people in hospital with the coronavirus, a fall of 7 percent on the previous Monday.
