One-tenth rise in traffic on Czech roads in half decade

Traffic on Czech roads and motorways has increased by around 10 percent compared to the year 2016, according to data released by the national Roads and Motorways Authority. The biggest increase was seen in haulage trucks, with over 20 percent.

The results of a national “transport census” should be used by central institutions and regions as well as to help plan transport construction projects.
