Czech economy up by 8.1 percent year-on-year in Q2
The Czech economy grew by 8.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter and increased by 1 percentage point compared to the first quarter, according to data released by the Czech Statistics Office on Thursday.
Household income in the second quarter grew by 3.9 percent, the highest quarterly increase on record, while spending increased by 4.8 percent.
The increase was driven by foreign demand and increased household consumption following the easing of coronavirus restrictions.
