Babiš meets Bulgarian PM in Sofia to discuss Czech aircraft and energy

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev in Sofia on Wednesday morning. Their talks focused on a possible Bulgarian purchase of Czech-made Skyfox aircraft produced by Aero Vodochody, as well as the security situation in Europe and energy issues.

The two prime ministers also discussed a possible postponement of the EU’s ETS 2 emissions trading system and the suspension of ETS 1.

Prime Minister Babiš is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Industry and Trade Minister Karel Havlíček and a Czech business delegation representing 50 companies.
