Babiš holds talks with European leaders on NATO summit sidelines
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš held a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of the Netherlands, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Slovenia on the sidelines of the 2026 NATO Summit in Ankara on Wednesday.
According to the Bulgarian government, Babiš and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev discussed expanding cooperation in defence and energy, as well as the impact of Russia's war in Ukraine and energy diversification in Central and Eastern Europe.
President Petr Pavel is also attending the summit, where he has been holding separate bilateral talks focused on defence spending, support for Ukraine and closer European defence cooperation.
