Czech minimum wage to rise by CZK 2,500 next year

The Czech minimum monthly wage will rise by CZK 2,500 to CZK 24,900 (approximately €1,000) gross per month from January, following an agreement between the government, unions and employers. It will equal 44.6 percent of the average wage.

The minimum wage is expected to reach about CZK 26,900 (approximately €1,080), or 45.8 percent of the average wage, in 2028, and 47 percent in 2029 under an automatic mechanism confirmed by all sides.
