ANO, SPD and Motorists discuss post-appointment timetable for new government

Leaders of ANO, the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) and the Motorists' parties discussed the timetable for their planned government once it is appointed, ANO deputy chairman Karel Havlíček said. President Petr Pavel is to appoint ANO leader Andrej Babiš prime minister on Tuesday morning, after which they will discuss the date for appointing the cabinet. Ministerial nominations will not change, Havlíček added. He said nothing should prevent ministers from being appointed early next week, despite Pavel’s reservations about Motorists’ nominee Filip Turek. The incoming cabinet plans to address construction law reform, renewable energy and social contributions for the self-employed at its first meeting.
