Havlíček: SPD and Motorists' Party accept no debate on leaving EU or NATO
There will be no discussion about Czechia leaving the European Union or NATO, including the idea of holding a referendum on the issue, in the emerging government of ANO, the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party, and the Motorists’ Party. According to ANO’s deputy chairman Karel Havlíček, both smaller partners have accepted this condition. After talks with the Motorists, Havlíček said the parties also agree on key economic priorities, including stimulating growth through private investment and stabilizing energy policy. Expert teams are to begin detailed negotiations later this week, with a full agreement expected within a month.
