Covid-19: Reproduction number lowest in week
Some 107 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health data, which was about 50 fewer than on the same day a week ago. However, fewer tests were carried out on Tuesday, since it was a public holiday in the country.
The reproduction number – the average number of people infected by one person with the virus – dropped to 1.08, which is the lowest in the past eight days. The seven-day incidence ratio has dropped below nine Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
