Group projects words High Treason on seat of President Zeman
A group calling themselves Let's Stop High Treason projected the word Velezrada (Czech for high treason) in huge letters on Prague Castle, seat of President Miloš Zeman, on Monday night. In a statement the group accused Mr. Zeman of being an agent of a hostile country that attacked the Czech Republic and killed Czech citizens. This was a reference to Russia, a country with which the president has warm relations.
The people behind the projection also called on MPs to take legal action over alleged high treason against the head of state.
The latter’s spokesman described the action as disgraceful.
