Czechs beat Guatemala in final World Cup warm-up

The Czech national football team completed its World Cup preparations with a 3–1 victory over Guatemala in New Jersey on Thursday. Patrik Schick opened the scoring in the 11th minute before William Fajardo equalised before halftime. The Czechs secured the win after the break through goals from Tomáš Chorý and Denis Višinský. The result followed a 2–1 win over Kosovo and extended Czechia’s unbeaten run under coach Miroslav Koubek. The team will now move to Dallas ahead of next week’s World Cup opener against South Korea.
