Unemployment remains at 3.8 percent in August

Unemployment in the Czech Republic remained at 3.8 percent in August, according to data released by the Czech Labour Office.

Compared to the same month last year, there were over 74,000 unemployed people more.

The country’s labour offices registered over 279,000 job seekers last month, which is the highest August figure in the past three years.

Technically-skilled manual workers, truck drivers, cooks and cleaners are the most sought after.
