Unemployment remains at 3.9 percent in February
Unemployment in Czechia remained at 3.9 percent in February, according to data released by the Czech Labour Office on Wednesday.
The country’s labour offices registered over 282,500 job seekers last month, some 550 fewer than in the previous month. The number of vacancies increased by about 2,000 to nearly 283,100.
The lowest rate of unemployment was traditionally Prague and in the regions of Central Bohemia, South Moravia and Pilsen, while the highest was in Ústí nad Labem with 5.8 percent and in Moravia Silesia.
