Some 500 Ukrainians attend "March of Gratitude" through central Prague
Some 500 Ukrainians took part in the "March of Gratitude" through the streets of Prague on Sunday to thank the Czech people for the help they have provided to refugees fleeing Russia’s invasion and to the Czech government for its support of Ukraine.
The participants of the march, mostly women and children, carried Czech and Ukrainian flags and distributed flowers and handmade souvenirs to passersby.
Since the start of the invasion at the end of February, several hundred thousand Ukrainians have to Czechia. To date, over 424,000 of them have been granted temporary protection visas.
