Slovácko beat Sparta in Czech cup for first ever trophy

Slovácko beat Sparta Prague 3:1 in the final of the Czech domestic football cup on Wednesday evening, for the first ever trophy in the history of the club.

The game took place at Slovácko’s 8,000-capacity stadium in the town of Uherské Hradiště.

The club was founded in the year 2000 and has been in the Czech top flight since 2009.
