Hradec Králové signs historic contract to build football stadium

The municipal administration of the Eastern Bohemian city of Hradec Králové has signed a CZK 568 million contract for the construction of a new football stadium with the companies Strabag, Geosan Group and D&D Elektromont. It is the biggest contract in the modern history of the city.

The stadium is expected to have a capacity of 8,000 and is planned to be finished by the spring of 2023. The arena will be built on the spot which is currently occupied by the multi-purpose Všesportovní stadion, which was constructed in 1966.
