Sixth case of monkeypox in the Czech Republic confirmed
The sixth case of monkeypox in the Czech Republic has been confirmed in Prague, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday. The person in question is an EU citizen aged 34 who is currently in isolation.
The first case of monkeypox in the Czech Republic was preliminarily confirmed by the State Institute of Public Health (SZÚ) eight days ago. Experts say the risk of spread in the population is low.
