Saturday Covid figure lowest in nine weeks but tests also down
Some 4,422 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Saturday, a fall of 139 on the same day a week earlier. It was the lowest figure for a Saturday for nine weeks. Reinfections stood at 755, which was 70 lower than a week before that. Tests were also down, by one-fifth.
There were 1,944 people in hospital with the coronavirus on Saturday, the first time the figure dipped below 2,000 since January 25.
