Monday Covid figures similar to week earlier

Some 10,423 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the Czech Republic on Monday, a fall of 400 on the same day a week earlier. There were 2,060 reinfections, a similar number to last week. However, the number of tests conducted continues to go down and the figure for Monday was 34,000.

The number of people in hospital with the coronavirus again climbed above 2,000 after the weekend.
