Prague Car Festival in Letňany draws long queues

The Prague Car Festival, featuring both historic and state-of-the-art new models, attracted great interest on Saturday, with hundreds queuing to gain entry into the Letňany exhibition centre.

Crowd favourites included the GTR - Frankenstein, which according to the festival organizers is the fastest car in the Czech Republic, accelerating to 300 kilometres per hour in just10.33 seconds.

Several hundred others watched as professional drivers performed so-called drifts and practiced skidding in the outdoor area. The event goes until Sunday, among other things, the Miss Czech Republic contest winner will be announced.
