Space Light Park on the banks of the Vltava River
Visitors to Prague can now experience the fascinating world of space in an impressive light exhibition on the banks of the Vltava River. Space Park Prague in the city’s of Žluté lázně (Yellow Spa) area depicts giant luminous planets, rockets, astronauts and flying saucers.
The third light exhibition at Žluté lázně focuses on the fascinating world of space, guiding visitors through the planets of the solar system, black holes and constellations. "Visitors will see over 60 light displays and there are over half a million lights, maybe more," says Matyáš Rajtl of Žluté lázně.
The space light project took more than a month to prepare and the organizers collaborated with leading Czech astronomers. Children can enjoy a fun trail with the fairy-tale character Zvonka, who will introduce them to light rockets, astronauts and flying saucers in simple language they will understand. On the accompanying information boards, visitors will find details on the size of the planets and their location.
The Space Light Park is open daily from 4 pm to 9 pm, until the end of January. Tickets can be purchased on the spot or online, and can be presented printed or displayed on a mobile device. On-site ticket sales begin at 4 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Entry by 8pm at the latest.
