Prague to ask EU, NATO allies for show of solidarity in row with Russia

Interior Minister and Acting Foreign Minister Jan Hamáček has said the Czech Republic will ask its EU and NATO allies for a collective response to Russia’s involvement in the 2014 munitions blasts on Czech territory. Minister Hamáček said the response should involve the expulsion of diplomats from allied countries in a show of solidarity. In an earlier statement the EU said it stands in “full support and solidarity” with the Czech Republic but stopped short of backing the statement with concrete actions.
