Over quarter million in Czech Republic now vaccinated against Covid
Over a quarter of a million people in the Czech Republic have now received the necessary two doses of vaccine against the coronavirus, according to Ministry of Health data. Nearly 90,000 people aged 80 plus have been inoculated in the country of 10.7 million.
The mostly commonly administered vaccine has been the one from Pfizer/BioNTech. The tempo of vaccination has picked up since the beginning of March, with the number for Wednesday – nearly 29,000 – the highest to date.
