Record high 47,000 vaccines administered Wednesday
Forty-seven thousand people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in the Czech Republic on Wednesday, which is the highest one-day figure to date.
In total 949,000 vaccines have been administered in the country of 10.7 million. 279, 750 people have received both doses.
The country is now predominantly using the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine and to a lesser extent AstraZeneca and Moderna.
The innoculation process is being undertaken at vaccination centres, hospitals and by GPs.
