Jordan’s King Abdullah II welcomed at Prague Castle

President Petr Pavel and his wife Eva have welcomed Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Queen Rania at Prague Castle. The visit includes talks focusing on the situation in the Middle East and opportunities for closer economic and defence cooperation between Czechia and Jordan. Following the welcoming ceremony, the presidential and royal couples are holding a private meeting, followed by talks between delegations from the two countries. King Abdullah is also due to meet Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) at the Kramář Villa. Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi is accompanying the king and is scheduled to meet Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motorists).
