Prague hosts Central Europe’s first international Climate Week
The first international Climate Week of its kind in Central Europe gets underway in Prague on Monday. The week-long event will feature debates, workshops, exhibitions and meetings covering issues including energy, agriculture, urban development, health and climate resilience. It will also include an international summit examining how geopolitics and the rise of artificial intelligence are affecting Europe’s competitiveness. Organisers say the event aims to bring together experts from different sectors to find practical, data-based responses to climate change. Prague is closely involved in the programme, which is organised by a coalition led by the International Sustainable Finance Centre.
