Havel remembered at Prague’s Triangl festival

Prague’s Museum of Literature, Villa Lanna and Villa Pellé in the Bubeneč district are hosting the third edition of the Triangl festival on Saturday, marking the 90th anniversary of Václav Havel’s birth. The free festival includes exhibitions, talks, films, music, theatre, workshops and guided tours.

The festival presents Havel as both a statesman and a writer. The Museum of Literature is hosting the exhibition Václav Havel: Letters to Olga, the theatre performance Antiwords, film screenings and talks.

Villa Lanna will focus on Havel as a statesman, while Villa Pellé is offering a children’s art workshop inspired by The Pizhduks, a series of eight lithographs by Jiří Sopko created in collaboration with Havel.
