President Pavel to meet PM Babiš on foreign policy

President Petr Pavel will meet Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) on Monday to discuss foreign policy coordination, including Pavel's participation in the UN General Assembly, and other current issues.

The meeting will follow a ceremony to retrieve the Czech crown Jewels from St Vitus Cathedral, which both politicians are expected to attend as holders of the keys to the chamber.

The UN General Assembly takes place in New York in two weeks. Pavel will lead the Czech delegation, while Foreign Minister Petr Macinka of the Motorists is also due to travel to the US.
