Václav Klaus Institute reports lowest funding since its foundation

The Václav Klaus Institute reported receiving its lowest income since its foundation this year. At the same time, it disclosed the identity of its sole donor, an association linked to energy businessman and billionaire Pavel Tykač.

The information comes from the institute’s newly published annual report. Jiří Weigl, director of the Václav Klaus think tank, attributed the donors’ reluctance to contribute to the increasingly polarised atmosphere in society.
