Euro: Michal Strnad remains Czechia’s richest person

Arms industry businessman Michal Strnad remains the richest Czech, according to Euro magazine’s latest ranking. The owner of CSG has an estimated fortune of CZK 470 billion (USD 22.7 billion), followed by energy businessman Daniel Křetínský with CZK 432 billion (USD 20.8 billion) and PPF owner Renáta Kellnerová and her family with CZK 385 billion (USD 18.6 billion). The combined wealth of the 100 richest Czechs and Slovaks rose by almost a fifth to more than CZK 4 trillion (USD 193 billion). Prime Minister Andrej Babiš’s (ANO) family ranked eighth with CZK 83.5 billion (USD 4 billion).
