Forbes: Kellnerová remains richest Czech

Renáta Kellnerová, widow of the late billionaire Petr Kellner, who died in a plane crash in the US three years ago, is the wealthiest Czech, according to an annual rich list published by Forbes on Wednesday. The market value of her assets is estimated at CZK 378 billion.

Second on the magazine’s list is Daniel Křetínský, the majority owner of Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH), whose property is estimated at CZK 284 billion. Karel Komárek placed third with assets estimated at CZK 262.5 billion.

According to Forbes, the top 100 wealthiest Czechs now hold a combined CZK 2.9 trillion—up nearly CZK 300 billion from last year. While the top positions remain unchanged, the gaps between them are narrowing.
