Šary Vary brings Karlovy Vary festival films to Prague and Brno
Film screenings showcasing highlights from this year’s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival begin in Prague and Brno on Monday. The traditional Šary Vary programme runs until July 19, offering selected films from the festival’s 60th edition. Screenings will take place at Prague’s Aero, Světozor and Přítomnost cinemas and at an open-air venue in Brno. The programme includes Czech competition films Pramen and Chica Checa, as well as award-winning international titles. This year’s Karlovy Vary festival screened more than 130 feature films and documentaries, including 37 titles in its competitive and special sections.
