Death toll from Czech yacht accident near Split rises to four

Croatian divers have found the body of a missing person from the yacht that sank with a Czech crew near Split, bringing the death toll from the collision to four.

The yacht, sailing under the French flag and carrying eight Czech nationals, sank after colliding with a passenger catamaran carrying 125 people. The accident occurred in the strait between the islands of Brač and Šolta.

According to the Czech consul in Zagreb, four Czech survivors were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Croatian authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
