Ukraine’s FM Sybiha thanks Czechs for solidarity at rallies marking invasion anniversary

Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha has thanked Czechs for expressing solidarity with Ukraine at rallies held across the country.

Czechia marked the fourth anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine with gatherings, marches and exhibitions. In Prague, President Petr Pavel also addressed a rally in Old Town Square and thanked Czechs for supporting Ukraine. Similar events were held in other cities.

“On Ukraine we hear, see and feel the support of each of you. Today’s gatherings in Prague’s main square and across the Czech Republic have shown the world what solidarity looks like,” Sybiha wrote on X, sharing a photo of a crowded Old Town Square.

Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Ukraine has been defending itself against the attack ever since.
