Police raid road directorate offices, at least 11 people detained

Police have carried out raids in Prague and at least two other regions, including the headquarters of the Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD) in the capital’s Kačerov district and its branch in Hradec Králové. According to ŘSD spokesman Jan Rýdl, officers requested documents related to small-scale maintenance contracts from one of the agency’s regional offices. The National Centre against Organised Crime (NCOZ) confirmed it is conducting criminal proceedings under the supervision of the district prosecutor’s office in Pardubice. According to Deník N, police have detained 11 people suspected of manipulating public tenders as part of an organised group.
