Irish jockey Keith Donoghue wins Grand Pardubice Steeplechase on Stumptown

Irish jockey Keith Donoghue won Sunday’s Grand Pardubice Steeplechase on Stumptown, an eight-year-old Irish gelding. The pair completed the demanding 6,900-metre course, which includes the famous Taxis Ditch, to secure victory in the 135th running of the race.

First held in 1874, the Velká pardubická is regarded as one of Europe’s toughest steeplechases. Donoghue’s success brought an Irish win to the historic Czech event.
