Student elections: Spolu wins among high schoolers, Pirates and STAN close behind

In student elections for Czech high schoolers over 15, the Spolu coalition came out on top with 20.6 percent of the vote, narrowly ahead of the Pirates and STAN (Mayors and Independents). Further behind were the Motorists and ANO.

No other party crossed the five-percent threshold needed for seats in parliament. Parties from the original government coalition were especially strong at grammar schools.

The elections were organized by People in Need through its One World in Schools program. A total of 637 schools took part, with 90,820 students casting their votes.
