Brno court: Stačilo! violated election law but may still run

According to the Regional Court in Brno, the Stačilo! movement formed an undeclared coalition for the upcoming autumn parliamentary elections, thereby violating the law. However, the court did not annul the registration of its candidate list, noting that other parties are skirting the rules in the same way. The ruling, published on Wednesday on the court’s official notice board, concerns petitions filed by the political groups Czech Republic First! and Volt Czechia, which had sought to invalidate Stačilo!’s candidate list in the Vysočina Region.
