Parties face deadline to fix errors on Czech election candidate lists

Political parties and movements running in this year’s Czech parliamentary elections have until Thursday to correct any errors on their candidate lists. Those meeting legal requirements will be officially registered by regional authorities or Prague City Hall by Friday, allowing them to compete for votes on October 3–4. A total of 28 groups have entered, six more than in 2021, but only one formal coalition remains: the governing “Spolu” alliance of ODS, TOP 09, and KDU-ČSL. Others, including ANO, the Pirates, SPD, and smaller parties, will run either alone or with allied candidates under a single party banner.
