Prague Pride kicks off with over 180 events under theme “Where is my home?”

The 15th annual Prague Pride festival begins Monday with an opening event on Střelecký ostrov (Archers' Island) on the Vltava river. Celebrating LGBT+ lives and communities, this year’s edition features more than 180 events, from workshops and debates to concerts and sports. According to organizers, the unifying theme "Where is my home?" emphasizes that LGBT+ people belong in Czechia just like anyone else. The week-long festival culminates on Saturday with a Pride Parade through central Prague, ending with music on Letná plain. Performers include singer Aneta Langerová and Eurovision contestant Aiko.
