Czech pavilion at Expo prepares for National Day

The Czech Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka is preparing for two key events: the Czech National Day and the following Education Day, highlighting Czech universities and their innovative potential. Czech President Petr Pavel will attend the opening of the National Day as part of his official visit to Japan, where he will meet Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and support Czech business interests.  Education Day on July 25 will present Czech universities to an international audience. Organised under the Study in Czechia initiative, the event will feature top Czech universities showcasing research, student exchange opportunities, and academic cooperation. According to Ondřej Soška, commissioner general of the Czech presence at Expo, the event underscores the country’s focus on education, science and talent.
