Brno museum unveils unique Bronze Age armour find
Brno City Museum has announced the discovery of a rare Bronze Age armour fragment, dating back over 3,200 years to the time of the legendary Trojan War. The damaged piece of chest armour was part of a treasure unearthed at a secret location in South Moravia in 2023, thanks to cooperation between archaeologists and the public. The items, including a spearhead and bronze tools, were likely buried during a ritual. Using 3D scanning, experts reconstructed the original shape and decoration of the armour. It is only the second such find ever recorded in Czechia.
