Wages continued to grow in real and nominal terms in early 2025, analysts say

Wages in Czechia kept rising both nominally and in real terms during the first quarter of 2025, according to analysts. However, their estimates of growth rates differ. The Czech National Bank expects a year-on-year real increase of 4 percent. While analyst of Capitalinked Radim Dohnal forecasts nominal wage growth of 8.7 percent and real growth of 6 percent, Vít Hradil from Investika predicts slower growth of 5.9 percent nominally and 3.1 percent in real terms. The strongest increases were seen in construction and services. Official statistics will be released on Wednesday.
