Khamoro Romani Festival ends in Prague with a gala concert

The 27th edition of Khamoro, the international Romani culture festival, concludes today in Prague. Organized by NGO Slovo 21 and Studio Production Saga, the week-long event culminates in a gala concert at the SaSaZu club featuring six Romani music ensembles from across Europe. Earlier in the day, a conference titled Speak Out (Vaker zoraleder) will address the issue of domestic violence in Romani communities, unveiling findings from the first targeted research on the subject. With over 10,000 visitors annually, Khamoro promotes cultural dialogue and challenges stereotypes through music and discussion.
