Lottery allocates Czech voters in America to Central Bohemian Region

In the October elections to the Chamber of Deputies, Czechs living in America will vote as if in the Central Bohemian Region, as decided by a lottery held on Wednesday by the State Election Commission. In other non-European countries, i.e. in Australia, Africa and Asia, Czech citizens will vote for candidates from the Prague party lists. The commission drew the Moravian-Silesian Region for Czechs living in parts of Western Europe. Compatriots who live in Germany and the remaining countries of Europe will choose their representatives to the lower chamber of parliament from the South Moravian candidates.
