Convoy of Liberty highlights Pilsen's Liberation Festival weekend

Pilsen is celebrating the third day of its five-day Liberation Festival, marking 80 years since the city was freed by the U.S. Army. The main attraction today is the Convoy of Liberty, which began at 11:00 and features around 350 historic American military vehicles parading down Klatovská Street. The convoy is led by tanks and jeeps carrying families of veterans from the U.S. and Belgium, followed by other period vehicles and current military equipment from Czech and U.S. forces. Vintage aircraft also accompany the event with flyovers. Organizers have tightened vetting of participants after a Nazi flag incident during last year's parade.
