Czechs increasingly concerned about economic and political instability
A growing number of Czechs are seriously concerned about the threat of recession and the tense geo-political situation. According to the results of an April survey conducted by the Ipsos agency, only a third of respondents expect the next generation to live in a better world. The feeling of insecurity is highest among elderly people, but it is also shared by the majority of people aged 18 to 34. People aged 24 to 44 are the most pessimistic about whether the next generation will live in a better world. Economic instability is a concern for 54 percent of respondents, while tensions in the international environment worry 34 percent of Czechs.
