Water leak closes Museum metro station in Prague

A water leak closed the Museum metro station at the top end of Wenceslas Square around 10:45 AM on Thursday. Prague Integrated Transport (PID) reported the closure on social media. Trains are currently passing through the station without stopping both on lines A and C.

The rain, which has been falling since midnight, combined with ongoing work to renovate nearby tram tracks, caused water to seep into the station's operational systems. PID advised commuters to use Florenc and Můstek stations for transfers between metro lines. The passageways from the Museum station vestibule towards Vinohradská Street are also closed.
