Prague Airport expects record 18 million passengers

Prague's Václav Havel Airport will expand its summer schedule to 165 destinations, expecting a record 18 million passengers—surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Compared to winter, this is an increase of 50 destinations. New long-haul routes include Toronto (Air Canada) and Abu Dhabi (Etihad), with more flights to Seoul (Asiana), Vilnius (Air Baltic), and Zagreb (Croatia Airlines). Over 40 regular routes will see increased weekly frequencies, and larger aircraft such as the Airbus A380 will be deployed. The airport is boosting staffing and installing CT scanners to speed up security checks, aiming to minimize delays amid the busy summer season.
