PM Fiala urges EU to take active role in tariff talks with US

The talks will focus on strengthening the EU’s defense and relations with the US under President Donald Trump. Trump recently warned of new tariffs on EU goods, citing a $300 billion trade deficit. Fiala emphasized the need for balanced trade terms and strong transatlantic ties. Meanwhile, Trump has already imposed new tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China, prompting threats of retaliation.
